Relevant Themes and Topics

In general, blog posts with the following themes/topics are acceptable: 

  • High school advice
  • College advice
  • Studying 
  • Productivity 
  • Personal growth

Please make sure to consider the following when choosing a topic: 

  • Will this topic resonate with the Learning With Angie audience?
  • Can I offer a unique perspective on the topic that can’t be found elsewhere? 
  • Am I qualified to speak about this topic?

Guest Post Content Requirements

Your post should:

  • Be at least 1,000 words in length.
  • Contain headings, subheadings, and bullet points to break up the text.
  • Include plenty of transition words.
  • Be written in a conversational tone.
  • Be original content that does not appear elsewhere on the Internet.
  • Conclude with actionable takeaways that the reader can implement.
  • Contain no more than three backlinks to your blog. Four are allowed if your post exceeds 1,500 words.
  • Link to all sources that you reference.
  • Be informational and educational in nature, not product-focused and promotional.

Guest Post Logistics

  • Once you’ve chosen a topic, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Guest Post Submission: [related keyword]. In the content of your email, elaborate on your topic idea. Please do not start writing until we have come to an agreement on the topic.
  • Once we’ve agreed on the topic, provide a deadline for when you will submit your draft for review.
  • After you’ve completed the draft, share it as a Google Doc. Use these sharing settings:
    • On – Anyone with the link;
    • Access – Can edit.
  • At the bottom of the blog post draft, send a short bio that does not exceed three sentences. You may include links to your blog and any social media.
  • Please note that once you submit the post, I have full copyright to the content and full permission to edit it. I am also not obligated to publish the post and reserve the right to remove it at any time.
  • I will add graphics to the post to remain consistent with the visuals on the rest of Learning With Angie.
  • I will let you know when the post is scheduled to be published.

Guest Post Promotion

You may not republish the content anywhere else, but you may promote the post through your social media and/or newsletter, or link to it from your blog. 

You may even include a snippet of the post on your blog, but you must link to the original content on Learning With Angie.
